A secret place that you don't know!

In this world, the life we have is very short. This cause people having a busy life, everything must be fast and complete. Due to this kind of lifestyle, a lot of time people will ignore some thing or some place and forget about it. There are many example in my life, Such as your wardrobe. This is a place that people will go everyday for dressing, however, many people probably already forget what is it inside look like. For me, my wardrobe is just like another world. Everytime when I try to find one clothes or pants is just like seeking for a treasure. My clothes are like the traps that I need to avoid, and my pants are the forest that I need to go over. This is just like a small activity for me everyday, it will also decide whether I will be happer or not for the following up hours. If I can found what I need and in short period of time, I would be happy and being positive to go to class. In the other hand, if I spend twenty minutes to find my another missing sock, I probably will in a bad mood and thinking about where the hack is my sock goes?

No matter what, this is just something small that I want to share with you guys. The purpose is not whether I am happy or not, nor where is my another sock go? The main point is sometimes people should stop for their life, maybe have a cup of coffee and enjoy what they have around them. This would make your life become better and you might found out that lots of place that you have ignore is such a beautiful or interesting place.

A Place That Only Welcome Me

Everyday when I go back to dorm, I can sit on my comfortable chair and enjoy my wonderful free time. My caps are like two kids watching at me and it looks like asking me to bring them out and enjoy the sun. Table lamp is just like my body who help me to illuminate my table when I need to do my homework. Don't forget the Snapple on the floor, all of my energy is come from them. Without them giving me energy, I'm probably will be exhausted for whole day. My daily necessities are standing on the shelf, they are like my personal guard to see whether I'm doing my homework or not during study hall. Don't forget our friend table, it is the strongest person I ever see in the world. It can carry tons of books on its back, and never move one step. At the right side of the table is an old wardrobe, sometimes it like to dress itself up with my clothes when I am not in my room. On the other side of the table is my bed, it might be one of my best friend in CA. Whenever I need a rest, it will let me lay on it body and help me to relax. Oh! I forgot one of my best friend-computer. It is just like my second teacher in the school or at dorm. When there is a problem or question that I don’t understand, I can just ask it and I will know the answer. It make my life become easier. All of these friends make my life become more interesting and convenient, and this is why I am glad to have them around me!

What a Snapple look like?

The Snapple bottle is made of glasses and no color. It have a silver iron gap on top with lots of blue print words on it. When you use your finger to hit it, it will make a "ding ding" sound!

Galileo in Cheshire Academy

Do you know the center of the universe is the sun? People in 1500 believed that the center of the universe was earth but not sun. However, one person stood out aganist the theory that the church published and proved that the center of the universe was sun. That person was called Galileo.

The play of Galileo was talking about how did Galileo first ‘’invent’’ the first telescope in the world. Then how did he used his telescope to discover that the center of the universe wasn’t earth. After that, he tried to tell people the theory that the Church published was not true. Soon, the Church found out that Galileo was doing this, and the Church think this will make them start to losing the power they have. They try to stop what Galileo want to tell, but in the same time, Galileo already know this wouldn’t be an easy fight. He was ready for any challenge that was coming to him.

Now I want to tell something about this play. This is a very interesting play because it was wrote by a German poet who named Bertolt Brecht. He was a very famous person because he had wrote lots of great play. Galileo was just one of them, there were more great play that was wrote by him.

Just like what I said, he was a really great poet, this mean he must doing very well on word. The truth told us it is correct because in the play of Galileo, the word he used were very difficult but also remarkable depth. The reason why I would know that was because I couldn’t understand them. It is because I’m not good at English, but if the audience was an English professor, he probably will think this play was very good.

Beside the language he used in the play, the character that he set up in it was very important to the play. Usually when people go watch a play, they might only have two to three main character and four to five not main character. In this play, instead of small amount of characters, he used almost twenty characters. This make the play become more easy to understand what happen to Galileo and the people around him. It was just like reading the bibliography of Galileo, but more interesting than just reading a book. This was one of the point I like about this play!

Last but not least, I would like to talk about those people who act in the play. This is not about the meaning of Galileo but about the actors. Those actors are like us, Cheshire Academy students, but what they did was not only performed the play. They were performed with their enthusiasm, I could feel it when I was sitting at my seat. It was something can’t be describe, because you must watch it by yourself then you will now what I’m talking about.

All of them were doing a great job, not only memorize all these difficult script, but also know where they should be and when. This was something need to be practice and practice for long time. I really thank those students who bring us such a beautiful play, and thank to Mr.Aronson who direct this wonderful play. 

Have you ever heard Bertolt Brecht ?

Bertolt Brecht was a German poet, playwright and theatre practitioner, who born in Augsburg, German Empire.He was a full of dreams person who departed from the accepted conventional norms of illusion in theatrical production and tried new approaches to develop a better understanding of drama. He insisted that the audience view the stage and actors from a realistic and rational perspective and not as the conventional imaginary world. He was just 16 when the World War I started, and he became more disillusioned with the society and started moving towards Marxism and Dadaism. He had studied medicine in university, but he developed a profound interest in literature. He wrote his first play 'Baal' in 1918 which was produced in 1923. His meeting with the novelist and playwright Lion Feuchtwanger in 1919 proved to be a turning point in his life. He worked with him on an adaptation of Christopher Marlowe's play Edward II, which greatly inspired his theatrical and dramaturgical development. He was a part of Erwin Piscator's first company which was dedicated to the development of its "epic, political, confrontational, documentary theatre." He also collaborated with Kurt Weill and was influenced by Chinese theatre. He, along with his wife, founded the theatre company 'Berliner Ensemble' during the post war years.

life of Galileo~

Galileo Galilei was born on 15 February 1564, in Pisa, Italy. He was a mathematician, astronomer, physicist, writer and philosopher. He had a great contribution in scientific revolution. In 1583, he got admitted in famous University of Pisa.

He supported the Aristotelian theory and got a good position in the most powerful scientific authority powered by the Roman Catholic Church. He left the university in 1585. Then he continued study mathematics. And after that he wrote a book named “The Little Balance” describing his two decade study on objects in motion.

For this book, he became a bit famous and he became a teacher in the University of Pisa in 1589. In 1609 he modified a telescope to observe the sky. Then he began to support the Copernican theory that the sun is the center and the earth is circling the sun, which offensive to Aristotelian an Roman Catholic Church theories.

In 1613 he told his student the similarity between Bible and Copernican theory.

The church knew it and made the book public. Then the church announced the Copernican theory illegal. Galileo was ruled not to teach of publish the Copernican theory about the earth and stayed silent for 7 year. Cardinal Maffeo Barberini was selected as the Pope Urban VIII, who was a good friend of Galileo. He encouraged Galileo to continue his study, but also told him not to write anything supporting Copernican theory.

I'm so sorry that I missed my homework today because this is what happened on my weekend.

After the school was done on Friday, I went to the community service for my afternoon activity until 5p.m.

I ran  to the dinning hall  because I needed to eat my dinner.

After dinner, I went to the gym and played lacrosse with my friends until 10:30.

I checked in with my dorm parent at 11:00, then I took a shower and went to bed.

Next day, I woke up and went to the lacrosse practice that we had on turf.

Then I went to the brunch and help the lights of hope until 4:00 in the afternoon.

I was so tired so I decided to take a nap.

After I woke up, it was already 7:00.

Then I went to Mr.B with my friends to celebrate one of my friend birthday.

We went back dorm at 9:00.

After that, I checked the portal to make sure how much homework I had for Monday, but I didn't start yet.

It was Sunday, I woke up at 11:00 because I did lots of works on Saturday.

After had my brunch, I went to the liberery to do a project with my classmates.

We worked so hard For a long time.

Finally, we finished the project at 5:30 in the afternoon.

We decided to go to the dinning hall to have  dinner.

We had lots of fun over there, and when I looked at the time, it was already 6:30.

I went back to the dorm and took a shower to get ready for the study hall.

When it was 7:30, the whole dorm was very quite because the study hall had started.

Everything looked so nice and perfect, but...

The tragedy happen.

I couldn't turn on my computer because it was broken.

When I tried to use my iPad to do my homework, it couldn't  connect to the Internet.

Finally, I turn on my computer, but I couldnt log into the portal because my friend made my account got locked.

After I knew that, I went upstairs as fast as possible to Zen's room and asked him what the writing homework was.

He said" It is an activity that need to be print out."

I asked him "Did you print it out?"

He said "yes I did, i printed it out before the school liberary printer broke. That means, if you want to print it out, it is impossible."

In that time, my feeling was like fall from heaven into hell.

Not because my computer broke, school Internet suck, and the school printer also suck.

It is because I couldn't do my homework!

This is why I'm was not able to do my homework over the weekend, so could I have one more day to finish it?
